Overview
Role Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, returns, order fulfillment, and inventory management, with a focus on safety and compliance. They are responsible for hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating associates, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and accuracy. The supervisor manages records for shipments, controls, and regulated substances, and maintains quality standards in packing and documentation. They support process improvements, enforce safety policies, and foster teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor warehouse staff performance and development.
- Ensure adherence to policies, safety regulations, and DEA guidelines.
- Supervise receipt, verification, and documentation of merchandise and controlled substances.
- Oversee order filling, packing, and shipment processes, maintaining accurate records.
- Manage logistics, route manifests, and resolve delivery or order issues.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and controlled substances.
- Supervise associates, monitor attendance, manage overtime, and perform related duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, or related fields.
- Minimum of two years of progressive warehouse or supervisory experience.
- Effective communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety, and computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to operate equipment like reach trucks (proficiency preferred).
- Willingness to work extended hours, participate in physical inventories, and support emergency needs.
Location & Work Environment: Onsite in Browns Summit, NC, with a rotating schedule. This role does not support remote work.
