Overview
Position Overview: Keep communities fed by supporting safe and efficient operations at distribution centers. As a Loader, you will move pallets from staging areas, load trailers, and ensure proper handling of merchandise.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
- Inspect trailers prior to loading.
- Verify orders using RF handhelds and voice headsets.
- Load and secure full pallets into trailers to prevent damage.
- Perform equipment inspections and complete related forms.
- Occasionally lift products weighing 1-60+ lbs, handling items safely from floor to overhead.
- Work on various surfaces and levels, maintaining safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum one year of experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift).
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
- Team-oriented with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to follow safe operating protocols.
