Role Overview:
This position involves safely transporting merchandise to customer locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries. The role requires adherence to safety regulations, proper documentation, vehicle inspections, and effective communication with customers and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver and pick up materials, ensuring accurate completion of delivery documentation.
- Collect payments when necessary and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
- Properly load and unload merchandise while complying with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Submit accurate trip reports and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Class A or B CDL preferred, or ability to obtain a farm service license.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and physical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
