Overview
Role: Full-time Bobtail Driver responsible for safely delivering propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proper pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Safely load, unload, and deliver propane into bulk trucks and customer tanks.
- Provide exceptional customer service across various customer types.
- Accurately complete driver logs, invoices, and related paperwork.
- Adhere to Department of Transportation safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management.
- Conduct visual tank inspections and report issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Tank, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
- DOT medical certification.
- At least two years of tanker or Bobtail truck driving experience.
- Proficiency in vehicle operation, visual inspections, and handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Good vision and communication skills.
- Clean driving record, pass drug test and background check.
