Overview
Role: Certified Automotive Inspector responsible for providing preventive maintenance, safety, and emissions inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and light/wiper inspections.
- Evaluate customer needs and deliver efficient service.
- Conduct state, smog, safety, and emissions inspections after certification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Master product and service knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least one year of recent automotive experience or completion of an automotive program.
- Ability to obtain State Inspector Licensure within 90 days.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Strong communication skills, friendly attitude, and eagerness to learn.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various positions.
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
