Role Overview: The Process Engineer supports internal logistics at manufacturing sites, focusing on developing and executing material handling processes to optimize production flow.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and coordinate logistics processes with production and third-party partners using engineering tools like AutoCAD and Excel. Lead complex projects with budgets over $250,000, support process design, manpower planning, and layout development. Analyze production issues, develop solutions, and oversee process improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient internal material delivery and resolve production challenges.
Qualifications & Skills: Engineering degree or equivalent experience, minimum 5 years in engineering roles, strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of warehouse and manufacturing operations are essential.
Additional Details: No direct or indirect reports, responsible for evaluating process costs, making data-driven decisions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Must be adaptable to working in an open office environment, with potential overtime and shift adjustments during projects.
