Hiab Driver/Yard Man

Overview

We are seeking a HIAB Driver / Yard Man based in Jedburgh with a pay rate of £16.50 per hour.

Operate HIAB/lorry loader vehicles safely for loading, unloading, and delivery of materials.

Perform lifting operations following safe systems of work, ensuring load security.

Conduct vehicle and equipment checks, report defects, and maintain compliance.

Support yard activities by preparing orders, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Plan routes, communicate effectively with teams, and assist with administrative tasks.

Essential skills include a valid UK driving license, HIAB certification, and a strong safety awareness. Desirable skills include forklift/telescopic handler tickets and additional safety qualifications.
