We seek a dependable and proactive HGV driver for our busy Chalford branch.
Main duties include delivering building materials locally, maintaining vehicles, assisting with loading/unloading, and serving customers. Applicants must hold a valid Cat C or C1 licence for at least 2 years, digital tachograph cards, and a current CPC licence. HIAB licence is desirable but not essential. Salary ranges from £31,500 to £33,000 annually, with benefits such as company pension, discounts, on-site parking, and training opportunities. Work involves a 45-hour week Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on rota, and no bank holidays. Key responsibilities include ensuring vehicle and paperwork compliance, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting yard operations. Full driving experience and appropriate licences are required. The role is full-time and permanent.
