Overview
We are offering a full-time, permanent position for an experienced HGV driver to join our award-winning team as a Cover Driver across various vehicle types, including bulk, curtain-side, Pallex, and delivery vans.
Based in the UK, the role involves
- Collecting and delivering agricultural, aggregate, and general freight
- Working mainly in the Southern Counties
- Daytime Monday to Friday work, with some weekend cover during the busy summer harvest (July-September)
- Night-out work may be available and discussed at interview
The package includes a competitive hourly rate of £16.65, weekly pay, a night-out allowance of £25 per night, and full benefits such as pension, income protection, holiday accrual, and electric/hybrid car schemes.
Applicants should have 1-2 years experience with a C+E license and a focus on customer service. Applications must include a cover letter and CV. Note: No holiday during peak harvest (August-September).
