We are looking for a reliable Lorry Driver to safely and efficiently transport goods along designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining safety standards.
Operate lorry with crane and other commercial vehicles in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Plan effective routes to ensure punctual deliveries.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and delays.
Adhere to driving hours regulations and maintain a clean license record.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo when needed.
Skills include proven driving experience, knowledge of road safety laws, organizational and communication skills, and valid licensing. Crane experience is preferred but not essential.
This full-time role offers a pay rate of £14.50-£16.00/hr, with benefits like pension and on-site parking, based at an in-person work location.
