HGV Class 1 Tramper – FULL TIME

Overview

We are seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramper) based at the Port of Heysham to join our medium-sized general haulage team.

Key responsibilities: Ensure timely and safe deliveries, primarily tautliner operations with some flatbed work. Maintain high standards of vehicle and personal cleanliness, handle documentation/PODs accurately, and provide excellent customer service.

Work details: Normal shifts Monday to Friday with optional weekend overtime. Tramper position preferred; candidates must be able to work 15-hour shifts and adhere to Tacho regulations. Willingness to lie out overnight is advantageous. No night work otherwise.

Qualifications & experience:

Class 1 Driving Licence (required)

CPC Card (required)

At least 1 year of driving experience

ADR Licence and flatbed experience advantageous

Salary & benefits: Starting from £39,000 per annum plus weekly bonuses paid quarterly, with on-site parking and company pension after probation.
