Overview
We are offering a permanent full-time Class 1 Day Driver position with opportunities for local day shifts and Irish tramping routes, based from Mallusk or Armagh depots.
Hours of work: Start between 05:00 - 06:30, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available.
Pay & Benefits:
- Up to £2000 annual bonus based on performance and attendance
- Overtime pay at £18/hour
- Full private medical and dental insurance after 9 months, covering driver, partner, and two children
- Night shifts (£27.50) and weekend pay additional
- PAYE only
Key Duties:
- Operate trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Load, secure, and deliver cargo punctually
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the team
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly
Experience & Skills:
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- ADR license is advantageous
- Knowledge of Irish transport routes
- Ability to manage time effectively and be punctual
- Cleanliness and respect for the vehicle are essential
