Overview
We are offering a permanent full-time position for Class 1 Day Drivers based at either Mallusk or Armagh depots. The role involves general haulage work, including local day shifts and Irish tramping, with start times between 05:00 and 06:30, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available.
Benefits include up to a £2000 annual bonus based on performance and attendance, overtime pay at £18/hour, private medical and dental insurance after 9 months, and additional pay for nights (£27.50) and weekends. The position is PAYE only with full company benefits such as pension, free parking, and sick pay.
Key duties involve safe operation of the truck, pre-trip inspections, cargo loading and securing, timely deliveries, accurate record-keeping, vehicle maintenance, and effective communication with the team. Candidates should have at least 1 year of driving experience, knowledge of Irish routes, and a clean, respectful attitude toward the vehicle. An ADR license is advantageous.
