Overview
Diesel Mechanic needed to maintain and repair a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment used for essential environmental services.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to support safe, reliable equipment operation.
- Follow DOT and company safety/operational standards.
- Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities in required systems.
- Maintain equipment readiness in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, brake, and electrical components.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to DOT/company procedures.
- Ability to complete preventive maintenance and accurate job documentation.
