Role Overview:
Seeking a Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles during overnight hours, primarily between terminals or relay points, with the possibility of occasional customer deliveries or pickups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive in accordance with federal and company safety policies, ensuring vehicle inspections and freight security.
- Assist with loading/unloading freight using appropriate tools, when certified.
- Maintain accurate logs and compliance with regulations, including hazardous materials transport.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report defects.
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum two years of interstate driving experience or one year plus approved training.
- Pass a driving test and hold or obtain hazardous material/tank endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no recent license suspensions, violations, or serious offenses.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
- Good work ethic, dependability, and cooperative attitude.
- Consent to background checks, drug testing, and use of driver-facing event recorders.
