Role Overview:
Seeking a Class A City Driver responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver freight. Key duties include loading/unloading trailers, securing cargo, inspecting vehicles for safety, and complying with federal and state regulations, including hazardous materials handling. The driver must maintain accurate logs, adhere to hours of service, and perform vehicle checks regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must have at least two years of verifiable interstate driving experience or one year plus approved driving school diploma. Obtain or possess Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days. Valid driver’s license from the resident state, with a clean driving record, no recent license suspensions or serious violations. Successful passing of a DOT physical, drug screen, and driving test is required. Ability to read/write English, perform basic math, and consent to use of driver-facing cameras are necessary.
Additional Requirements:
Compliance with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration, and adherence to federal, state, and company policies.
