Overview
Join a dynamic manufacturing team responsible for assembly, inspection, repair, and testing of aircraft engines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in training associates and supporting engine kitting and parts storage using shadowing techniques.
- Compiling data for nonconforming product decisions and documenting technical information with timely communication.
- Performing visual/quality checks to ensure product traceability.
- Executing hands-on engine assembly and repair activities at a high skill level to support team goals.
Qualifications and skills required:
- High School Diploma or GED and FAA Certified Powerplant Maintenance License.
- At least 3 years in aviation manufacturing or maintenance; jet engine experience is a plus.
- Experience with assembly, inspection, testing, inventory control, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, precision instruments, MES/ERP systems, and technical problem-solving.
- Knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations, safety protocols, and troubleshooting skills.
Work environment:
- Manufacturing setting with physical activity involving kneeling, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and exposure to hazards like chemicals and pressurized equipment.
- No travel expected; overtime may be required based on project needs.
