Overview
The CDL Driver role involves providing shuttle services between the manufacturing facility in Bern, KS, and the warehouse in Lawrence, KS, under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager.
- Communicates with logistics and facilities to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and products.
- Delivers and picks up goods according to schedule, maintains accurate truck logs, and oversees equipment records.
- Loads and unloads trucks, operates equipment, and adjusts truck weights for safety compliance.
- Follows all DOT, GMP, HACCP, and SQF regulations, ensuring safety, food safety, and product integrity.
- Maintains a clean, safe work environment, reports repairs, and can operate a forklift if needed.
- Provides excellent customer service and supports other departments as required.
- Requires a high school diploma, valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and at least 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Full-time position offering pay starting at $24/hour, based in Bern, KS, with regular attendance essential.
