This full-time, permanent role involves driving and supporting removals operations across the UK and Europe, with occasional overnight stays and travel in mainland Europe.
You will be responsible for transporting crews, assisting with packing, loading, unloading, and dismantling/reassembling furniture.
Physically fit candidates are required to handle manual tasks and furniture assembly.
Willingness to work unsocial hours, including nights away, is essential. A valid passport is necessary for cross-border moves.
Professional conduct, strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and flexibility are crucial.
Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and maintain communication with the office.
Wear company uniform and PPE when working on-site.
Own transport is needed to/from the depot.
Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid HGV (Category C+E) license is required.
Knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards for large vehicles is essential.
Experience in delivery or logistics is advantageous.
Compensation ranges from £32,000 to £44,000 annually, with benefits including pension, free parking, and on-site facilities.
