Overview
We are hiring full-time Class 1 Day Drivers for immediate placement, offering local day shifts and Irish tramping opportunities from Mallusk or Armagh depots.
Hours of work: Start between 05:00-06:30, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available.
Pay & Benefits:
- Up to £2000 annual bonus based on performance and attendance over 46 weeks
- Overtime at £18 per hour
- Private medical and dental cover for driver, partner, and two children (after 9 months)
- Nights out (£27.50) and weekend enhancements
- Full PAYE employment
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating trucks and adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Performing pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Loading, securing cargo, and ensuring damage-free transit
- Delivering goods punctually and maintaining delivery records
- Communicating with the Operations Team and reporting vehicle issues
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting mechanical problems
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- ADR license is advantageous
- Knowledge of Irish transport routes
- Ability to manage time effectively and be punctual
- Respectfulness and vehicle cleanliness are essential
