Overview
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team and support our expanding business.
Reporting to the Hire Manager, you will be the key contact for customers, delivering and collecting plant machinery, inspecting equipment, and supporting depot loading activities.
Key responsibilities include ensuring proper paperwork, recording defects, managing tachograph compliance, and maintaining safety standards.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points, a valid CPC, and at least two years of HGV driving experience. Experience with plant machinery loading/unloading is preferred but training will be provided. The role requires excellent communication, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Own transport is essential due to location. The role is Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. In return, we offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, pension, bonus scheme, and overtime opportunities.
