Overview
We are seeking experienced HGV Drivers to transport agricultural bulk goods, mainly potatoes, across the UK and EU. The role involves collecting and delivering products, conducting vehicle checks, securing loads, and completing paperwork. Drivers will also handle shunting operations, requiring physical activity such as coupling trailers and assisting with loading.
Our ideal candidate has a Category C+E license, Driver CPC, and at least 1 year of HGV experience. They should enjoy varied work, work outdoors, and maintain professionalism with customers. Full training is provided for tug operations.
We offer a competitive hourly rate (£15.87-£21.03), guaranteed hours, modern equipment, comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and a safe working environment. The role involves a rolling 4-night on, 4-night off shift pattern, based near Peterborough. Reliable commuting or relocation is required.
