Overview
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team and support our growing plant hire business.
Reporting to the Hire Manager, you will be the primary contact with customers, responsible for delivering and collecting plant machinery, inspecting equipment, and supporting depot loading activities.
Key duties include ensuring accurate paperwork, managing tachograph compliance, and maintaining safety standards.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points, up-to-date CPC, and at least two years of HGV experience. Experience with plant loading/unloading is preferred, with training provided. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Own transport is required due to location. The role is Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm, offering competitive pay, holiday entitlement, pension, bonus scheme, and overtime opportunities.
