Overview
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team, delivering and collecting plant machinery while providing excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Hire Manager, you will be the key contact with customers, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Your responsibilities include inspecting machinery, managing paperwork, supporting loading/unloading at the depot, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points, up-to-date CPC, and at least 2 years of HGV experience. Experience in loading/unloading plant machinery is preferred but training is available. The role requires good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Own transport is essential due to location proximity. The position offers a competitive salary, holiday entitlement, pension, bonus scheme, and potential overtime. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.
