Class 2 Driver Essex

Overview

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV Recovery Driver to join our growing team.

Operate flatbed lorries to transport damaged or broken-down vehicles safely.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate delivery records, and ensure compliance with traffic laws.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, assisting with vehicle maintenance reports.

Work a mid-shift pattern (11am-11pm or 12pm-12am) on a 5 on/3 off schedule, based at depots in Essex.

Provide excellent customer service, uphold safety standards, and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements include a valid UK driving licence with appropriate endorsements, minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience, and a clean DBS record. Knowledge of road safety and GPS navigation is essential.
