Class2 Driver

Overview

Established in 1955, our company is a leading steel stockholder and processor in the UK with a strong focus on customer service and safety. We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our team, responsible for multi-drop deliveries, material movement, and occasional warehouse assistance.

Ensure safe, efficient delivery and collection of goods, maintaining vehicle condition and adhering to VOSA regulations.

Plan routes to optimize efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

Assist with loading, unloading, and stock management in the warehouse.

Provide excellent customer service and uphold safety standards.

Contribute to team meetings and company strategies.

Skills required include a minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience, familiarity with straps, chains, and safety practices, along with a valid Class 2 license, Driver CPC (preferred), and good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations. The role offers a £14.72/hour wage, annual bonuses, pension, health benefits, development opportunities, and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
