We are seeking a dependable, proactive HGV driver to join our busy Chalford branch.
Main duties include delivering building materials locally, maintaining vehicles, assisting with loading/unloading, and serving customers. Required qualifications: valid Cat C/C1 licence (2+ years), digital tachograph cards, current CPC licence; HIAB licence is a plus. Salary from £31,500 per annum, with benefits such as pension, employee discounts, on-site parking, and store discounts. Working hours are Monday to Friday (7:00-16:30) with Saturday mornings on rota; no bank holidays. Responsibilities encompass ensuring customer satisfaction, completing paperwork, vehicle maintenance, safe loading, and adhering to driving regulations. Experience in delivery, local knowledge, and teamwork are desirable. Full-time, permanent position with ongoing training and potential for additional certifications.
