Overview
Role: Regional flatbed truck driver hauling steel coil, pipe, and building materials.
Key Duties:
- Operate a company-provided truck on regional flatbed routes.
- Transport freight safely and efficiently while meeting route and delivery expectations.
- Secure loads using tarps and proper flatbed loading techniques.
- Handle situations requiring detention and layover as needed.
Compensation: Percentage-based pay on linehaul, plus additional tarp, detention, and layover pay.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- One year of verifiable CDL-A over-the-road experience.
- Strong commitment to safe driving, load securement, and compliance.
- Ability to manage flatbed requirements for heavy or oversized building materials.
