Residential CDL Driver
Safely operate collection trucks to provide curbside waste and recycling services for local neighborhoods. This customer-facing role includes following assigned routes, performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring loads are properly secured and compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Duties
- Operate collection vehicles safely and efficiently
- Conduct vehicle inspections and address basic issues per policy
- Secure loads and comply with all applicable safety/environmental requirements
- Work with dispatch and helpers to complete daily tasks
- Complete basic paperwork and enter information into onboard systems
- Provide professional, courteous service while representing the organization
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid CDL appropriate for the vehicle
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow regulations
- Customer-focused communication and professionalism
- Ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections accurately
- Comfort using onboard systems and completing required documentation
