Hydrovac Operator
Field-based role supporting construction and industrial projects by safely operating hydrovac trucks to perform non-destructive excavation.
Key Duties
- Safely operate hydrovac equipment to expose underground utilities and infrastructure using high-pressure water and vacuum systems.
- Drive to jobsites and complete daily setup of equipment.
- Perform daylighting in accordance with safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Conduct equipment inspections and maintain required logs and documentation.
- Follow established procedures while working collaboratively with a field team.
- Maintain a safety-first mindset and ensure compliant operation throughout each job.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to operate hydrovac trucks and non-destructive excavation equipment safely.
- Strong focus on safety, procedures, and quality documentation.
- Comfort working in a field environment and collaborating with teams.
- Willingness to learn through training and perform inspections and logkeeping.
