Overview
Auto Body Technician
Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Restore vehicles to pre-accident condition by completing panel replacement, bodywork, and high-quality fit/finish to manufacturer and insurance standards.
Key Duties
- Repair and replace panels using approved collision repair methods
- Use frame machines, welders, and measuring systems to ensure accurate alignment and restoration
- Complete bodywork and fit/finish to required specifications
- Collaborate with estimators, painters, and parts teams to support efficient, accurate repairs
- Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards
- Participate in continuous improvement and ongoing training for advanced repair technologies
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with collision repair, welding, and vehicle measurement/alignment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet technical specifications
