Operations Supervisor (Production & Operations)
Lead daily operations within a manufacturing facility, overseeing production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. Optimize operations by managing schedules, materials, and staffing, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and resolve production issues.
Key Duties
- Supervise plant operations to ensure consistent performance against targets.
- Coach and develop front-line employees; support a high-performance culture.
- Monitor and drive KPI performance for production and operational effectiveness.
- Enforce food safety and applicable compliance standards.
- Support capital and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven operations or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and food safety compliance.
- Ability to optimize resources (materials, staffing, throughput) and manage performance metrics.
- Lean/continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coaching/people leadership skills.
