Overview
Role Overview: The position involves the safe and efficient movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods, and supplies using effective scan/load methods. It is a non-driving role focused on package handling and support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and support with packages, documents, and supplies in a timely manner.
- Perform package maneuvering, stacking, and handling in various environments, including enclosed spaces and all weather conditions.
- Ascertain accurate lifting, bending, squatting, and climbing tasks while working efficiently in a physical environment.
- Complete all necessary safety and re-currency training successfully.
Qualifications & Skills:
- No formal education or experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or help.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
- Effective communication skills for noisy environments.
- Work safely, alertly, and in all conditions.
Additional Details: This is a part-time role around 20 hours/week, with shifts primarily during daytime or late-night hours.
