Overview
This role involves operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously within designated routes.
Responsibilities include verifying shipments for service standards, providing customer service, and performing related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Preferably, candidates will have at least six months of courier experience and demonstrate area knowledge.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to lift 50 lbs, maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment, and excellent verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of the service area, dependability, adaptability, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are essential.
Work Conditions: Neat appearance due to customer contact, compliance with federal motor carrier safety regulations, and ability to work alertly and safely.
