Overview
We are seeking a Lead Platform Vehicle Engineer responsible for overseeing vehicle platform design, development, and integration to ensure quality, performance, and safety standards.
Key duties include:
- Leading and coordinating vehicle design, development, and supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and quality materials.
- Managing projects by defining objectives, milestones, and monitoring progress within scope and budget.
- Leading cross-functional teams and external partnerships to meet project goals and improve methodologies.
- Reviewing vehicle testing results, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing improvement recommendations.
- Approving CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications, and overseeing technical reviews and feasibility assessments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or relevant STEM field.
- 12+ years of automotive/powersports experience with vehicle platform development.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry, product technology, and project management.
- Proficiency in CATIA (preferred), critical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage resources, and adapt to changing strategies.
Workstyle: Onsite with potential for one remote day per week, requiring effective team collaboration.
