Overview
Role Overview: Support warehouse operations within a distribution environment, focusing on temperature-sensitive materials and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor temperature-controlled materials during storage and shipment to ensure quality preservation.
- Update warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation for traceability.
- Identify and route damaged, on-hold, or non-conforming materials following established procedures.
- Coordinate material movement using warehouse equipment for safe and efficient flow.
- Prepare packaging and shipment areas to facilitate timely outbound activity.
- Escalate handling or inventory issues to support prompt resolution.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and cold chain handling.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, maintain accurate records, and operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Capable of working with temperature-sensitive materials and supporting timely order fulfillment.
