Overview
Role Overview: This position involves safely delivering and picking up merchandise to customer locations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation. The role emphasizes providing outstanding customer service to create positive delivery experiences and adhering to all safety, traffic, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles for deliveries and pickups, completing all required documentation accurately.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of merchandise, complying with safety regulations.
- Collect payments from customers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
- Submit accurate daily trip reports and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain a farm service license.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and physical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
