Role Overview:
Seeking a Class A City Driver responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver freight. Key duties include loading and unloading trailers, securing cargo, inspecting vehicles for safety, and complying with federal and state transportation regulations, including Hazardous Materials requirements. The driver must maintain accurate logs, perform vehicle safety checks, and handle freight through manual or mechanical means.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of two years of interstate driving experience or one year plus approved training; valid driver’s license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days (if applicable); clean driving record with no recent license suspensions or serious violations; pass DOT physical, drug screening, and a driving test; proficiency in English and basic math; and consent to safety monitoring devices and background checks.
