Overview
Role: Full-time Bobtail Driver responsible for propane delivery to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Sutherlin, OR and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proper pre- and post-trip truck inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely load, deliver, and unload propane into bulk trucks and customer tanks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse clients.
- Accurately complete driver logs, invoices, and paperwork.
- Adhere to Department of Transportation safety standards and environmental safety protocols.
- Maintain communication with dispatchers and supervisors.
- Perform visual tank inspections, record findings, and notify dispatch of issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid CDL A license with Tank, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
- DOT medical certification.
- Minimum of two years’ experience driving a tanker or Bobtail truck.
- Ability to handle and operate controls, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including climbing and balancing.
- Good vision (including peripheral, color, and depth perception).
- Clean driving record; ability to pass drug screening and background check.
