Overview
Role: A Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for safe, overnight transportation primarily between terminals, with occasional customer deliveries and freight handling at terminals.
Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with federal and company regulations.
- Secure, load, unload, and inspect freight and vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Perform vehicle inspections and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
- Drive primarily Monday–Friday nights, with occasional weekends, and be home daily unless unforeseen circumstances occur.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum two years of verifiable interstate driving experience or one year plus approved training.
- Valid driver’s license with necessary endorsements, including hazardous materials endorsement within 90 days if applicable.
- Clean driving record with no recent license suspensions, violations, or serious offenses.
- Pass DOT physical, drug, and background checks, including a pre-employment drug screen.
- Demonstrate dependability, a positive attitude, and a stable work history.
- Consent to use of driver-facing event recorders and background checks, including FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
