Overview
Role: A Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for safe overnight transportation of freight between terminals, with occasional customer pickups or deliveries. Drivers are primarily home daily and may assist with loading/unloading freight, securing cargo, and inspecting vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Responsibilities include: Operating commercial vehicles in accordance with federal and company policies, maintaining accurate logs, complying with hazardous materials regulations, and ensuring vehicle safety through inspections. The role involves driving in various conditions and adhering to hours-of-service regulations.
Qualifications: Minimum of two years (or one year with approved training) interstate driving experience, valid driver’s license, and necessary endorsements. Must pass a driving test, physical exam, and drug screening, with a clean driving record and no recent violations or accidents. Candidates must demonstrate dependability, a positive attitude, and consent to monitoring and background checks.
