Overview
Role:
Seeking a Class A Linehaul Driver responsible for safe overnight transportation of freight, primarily terminal-to-terminal, with occasional customer pickups or deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, adhering to federal and company regulations.
- Secure, inspect, and maintain vehicle and freight.
- Complete driver logs and compliance records.
- Assist with loading/unloading freight using dock tools, when required.
- Drive in various conditions, following hours-of-service laws.
- Perform vehicle safety checks and respond to operational needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of two years interstate driving experience or one year plus approved driving school.
- Valid driver’s license with necessary endorsements, including hazardous materials if applicable.
- Clean driving record with no recent suspensions or violations related to DUI, reckless driving, or violations involving harm or felony.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol tests.
- Demonstrated dependability, good work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Willingness to comply with background checks, driver record reviews, and use of safety technology.
- Must register with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
