Role Overview:
This position involves safely delivering merchandise to customer locations, ensuring timely and cost-effective service while maintaining excellent customer relations. The role emphasizes adherence to safety regulations, accurate documentation, vehicle inspections, and effective communication with customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and pick up materials, ensuring proper loading and unloading.
- Complete all required delivery documentation accurately.
- Collect payments when necessary and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Submit accurate daily trip reports and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Class A or B CDL preferred, or ability to obtain a farm service license.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work independently or in a team.
