Overview
Role: Owner Operator Flatbed Driver responsible for transporting goods across regions and OTR routes.
Responsibilities: Operate flatbed or step-deck trailers, perform vehicle inspections, work in various weather conditions, and adhere to DOT regulations. Manage IFTA reporting and maintain up-to-date inspections for tractor and trailer. Successfully pass company road tests and maintain a valid medical certificate. Provide excellent teamwork or independent work, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid Class A CDL, minimum 2 years driving experience, clean MVR with no recent preventable accidents, and up-to-date medical and inspection records. Knowledge of DOT regulations, ability to pass drug screens, and ownership of necessary insurance. Ability to work physically and pass a road test. Must be 21+ and able to relocate to Anderson, SC.
Key Duties: Driving on regional and OTR routes, managing truck and trailer maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Compensation ranges from $244,877 to $271,450 annually, with benefits including fuel cards and referral programs. Trucks are equipped with ELD, and the role requires physical activity and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
